Gamma Gamma Chapter Accomplishments of Executive Board/Members
April 2007-April 2008

- Inducted a record number of undergraduate and graduate nursing students and nurse leaders in 2007 and 2008.
- Awarded scholarship money.
- Donated $1000.00 to the San Diego Senior Center.
- Supported FHC Logan Heights Family Health Center in luncheon fundraising $525.00 (individual support).
- Held STTI Informational Meeting for nursing students at SDSU.
- Sent two delegates to 2007 Biennial Convention in Baltimore.
- Received 3rd Chapter Key Award.
- Received Best Practice for Technology recognition from STTI for webpage.
- Received Chapter Community Service Star for community service from STTI.
- Received $1400.00 from Sharp Healthcare for the purchase of Honor Cords for inductees.
- Increased member knowledge of activities by link with Nurse Week Calendar.
- Supported two October 2007 fire nurse victims for total $500.00.
- Supported Odyssey Research Conference 2007.
- Co-sponsored Fall 2007 & Spring 2008 Program with Zeta Mu: Epidemiology/Bioterroism & Maggot Debridement Therapy & Anabolic Steroid Therapy on Pressure Ulcer Healing in Persons with Spinal Cord Injury, respectively.
- Linked the San Diego Chapter of National Association of Hispanic Nurses website to webpage.
- Held annual Program Dinner 2008 with keynote speaker, Dr. Todero.
- Attended Association of California Nurse Leaders 7th Annual Innovations Conference.
- Co-sponsored INR Research Conference.
- Created Membership Communicator role to expand electronic communications.
- Co-sponsored 2007 Collaborative Evidence-Based Nursing Conference with Sharp Healthcare.
